Simple ol’ Me · Hong Kong Custom Bedding

Custom-made bedding in Hong Kong

Made-to-measure fitted sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases for deep mattresses, IKEA and imported sizes, platform beds, special duvet inserts and non-standard pillows. Traditional custom materials now include 100s TENCEL™ Lyocell, 120s Fine-Denier Lyocell Cotton, 100s Cotton Sateen and 140s Cotton Sateen.

Quick answer

Choose construction first, then material. Traditional made-to-measure bedding is the route when you need a fitted sheet, duvet cover or pillowcase made to your dimensions. If the main problem is repeatedly lifting a thick, heavy, platform-bed or wall-side mattress, compare the detachable 100s Tencel zipper fitted-sheet system.

Step 1: choose the construction

Traditional custom bedding

Choose this route when you need made-to-measure fitted sheets, duvet covers or pillowcases. You can choose among the four material directions below.

Detachable zipper fitted sheet

A fitted base stays around the mattress while the sleeping panel can be removed for routine washing. This is a construction choice, not a fifth material.

100s, 120s and 140s are not a simple quality ranking. Fibre composition, spinning, weave, fabric weight, dyeing and finishing also influence the finished result. “Fine denier” and “120s” describe different aspects of the 120s product.

Colour-code families

CMT: 100s Tencel custom colours
120CMT: 120s Fine-Denier Lyocell Cotton colours
CMC: 100s Cotton Sateen colours
140CMC: 140s Cotton Sateen colours

Actual colour can differ between material families because fibre, weave, surface lustre, lighting and display settings affect perception.

Measure the actual item

Fitted sheet

Measure mattress width, length and total depth. Include a topper or protector only when it normally stays under the fitted sheet.

Duvet cover

Measure the actual duvet insert width and length rather than relying on an old cover.

Pillowcase

Measure the actual pillow. Add a note for shaped, extra-thick or unusually long pillows.

Pricing and production

Traditional custom products use a measurement-first quotation logic: the configurator calculates estimated fabric usage from item type, dimensions, quantity and colour. The applicable material rate shown on the relevant product page is then used for the quotation.

Most custom orders require approximately two to three weeks after measurements, material, colour and order information are confirmed. Actual timing can vary with fabric availability, batch cutting and workshop scheduling.

Custom bedding FAQ

What is 120s Fine-Denier Lyocell Cotton?

It is a made-to-measure bedding material composed of 60% Lyocell and 40% long-staple cotton. It is positioned between the very fluid feel of pure Lyocell and the more grounded feel of pure cotton, with smoothness plus a little more body.

Is 120s automatically better than 100s?

No. The materials have different fibre compositions and should not be ranked by yarn count alone.

Can I order only a fitted sheet?

Yes. Traditional custom fitted sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases can be configured as individual items.

Is the zipper fitted sheet another material?

No. It is a construction system. The current detachable version uses 100s Tencel.
