Simple ol’ Me · Custom Baby & Kids Bedding Hong Kong
Made-to-measure fitted sheets for baby cots, cribs, toddler beds, children’s beds, IKEA and imported small mattresses, kindergarten nap mats and other non-standard sizes. Each sheet is based on the actual mattress length, width and depth rather than only a bed-size label.
Quick Answer
Yes. Simple ol’ Me provides custom baby cot, crib and kids fitted sheets in Hong Kong using the mattress’s actual length, width and depth. Custom sizing is useful when a ready-made sheet is too loose, too shallow, difficult to find, or designed for a slightly different IKEA, imported, toddler-bed or nursery-mat size.
Made for the Mattress Your Child Actually Uses
A child’s fitted sheet is not simply an adult sheet made smaller. The fitted depth, corner shape and surface fit depend on the actual mattress. Custom sizing avoids relying on a ready-made product that is only “close enough”.
Excess fabric may wrinkle, shift or prevent the corners from sitting neatly around the mattress.
The lower edge may not reach far enough underneath the mattress and can lift away from the corners.
Two mattresses described as cot, crib, toddler or small bed can still have different centimetre dimensions.
Thin nap mats, deeper cot mattresses and mattresses with permanent protectors require different fitted depths.
Suitable Sleep Surfaces
The quotation is based on actual measurements rather than labels such as Cot, Single or Toddler. When a mattress has unusual construction, include notes and a clear photograph for review.
For wooden cots, compact cribs and replacement mattresses whose original fitted sheets are difficult to source.
For toddler beds, converted cot beds, bunk beds and other smaller sleeping surfaces.
For mattresses whose actual centimetre dimensions do not match commonly stocked Hong Kong sheets.
For kindergarten rest mats, nursery pads and thin mattresses where the most suitable cover construction should be reviewed.
Only where the manufacturer permits a separate fitted sheet and the approved sleep surface can be measured accurately.
For small mattresses made for custom furniture or spaces where standard fitted-sheet dimensions do not apply.

Three Core Measurements
Remove the existing sheet and measure the mattress itself. Do not measure the outside cot frame, rely only on the model name, or copy an old fitted sheet that may have stretched or shrunk.
Length
Measure from one end of the mattress to the other along its longest edge.
Width
Measure from side to side at the widest consistent point.
Depth
Measure vertically from the top surface to the bottom without compressing the mattress.
Example Order Entry
120 cm length × 60 cm width × 10 cm depth · Quantity 2 · Selected fabric and colour code
Include a thin, flat protector in the final depth only when it will normally remain underneath the fitted sheet.
Read the complete baby cot measurement guide →Special Case: Very Thin Mattresses
A traditional elastic fitted sheet works well for many cot and children’s mattresses. However, a very thin, soft or flexible mattress may bend when strong elastic pulls around its perimeter. In selected cases, a closely sized envelope-style cover may be worth discussing.
Usually the direct choice when the mattress is firm, keeps its shape and has enough depth for the fitted edge to wrap underneath.
A pillowcase-like cover may be considered when an extremely thin mattress can be removed and inserted without relying on strong perimeter elastic.
Neither design is automatically suitable for every infant sleep product. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and provide the mattress dimensions, firmness, flexibility and photographs where relevant.

Hong Kong’s Family Health Service advises using a firm, well-fitted mattress, leaving no gap between the mattress and cot, placing the baby on their back for sleep, and keeping soft objects and loose bedding out of the cot.
This page promotes made-to-measure fitted sheets. It does not recommend adding pillows, duvets, loose blankets, padded bumpers, stuffed toys, extra mattresses or soft toppers to an infant sleep space.
Follow the cot, crib, travel-cot or play-yard manufacturer’s instructions and seek advice from a healthcare professional where appropriate. Read Hong Kong Family Health Service guidance →
Ordering Process
Record the actual length, width and depth in centimetres.
Select 100s TENCEL™ Lyocell or 100s long-staple cotton sateen.
Add a fitted-sheet item in the quotation tool and select the required colour code.
Check the dimensions, estimated fabric usage, price and custom-order summary before adding to cart.
Pricing and Production
TENCEL™ Lyocell and cotton sateen have different current per-metre prices.
Mattress length, width, depth and the number of sheets affect estimated fabric usage.
Items using the same material and colour may be combined before estimated fabric is rounded to whole metres.
The current quotation displayed by the selected product calculator is the pricing reference. Many custom orders require approximately two to three weeks after the measurements, material, colour, quantity and order details have been confirmed. Fabric availability and workshop scheduling may affect the actual timing.

Yes. Simple ol’ Me provides made-to-measure fitted sheets for baby cots, cribs, toddler beds, children’s beds and other non-standard small mattresses in Hong Kong.
The terms are often used for similar products, but mattress dimensions can differ. A custom order should therefore use the actual mattress length, width and depth rather than relying on either name.
Yes. Add only a fitted-sheet item through the traditional custom-bedding quotation tool. A duvet cover, pillowcase or complete set is not required.
Measure the actual mattress length, width and depth in centimetres. For an unusual mattress, also mention rounded corners, folding sections, flexibility and other relevant construction details.
Measure the mattress itself. The outside dimensions of the cot or crib frame are normally larger and should not be submitted as the fitted-sheet dimensions.
Yes, provided the actual mattress dimensions can be measured. Do not rely only on an IKEA product name, imported size label or nominal cot size.
Provide the exact dimensions and explain whether the mattress is firm, flexible, removable or foldable. A traditional fitted sheet or envelope-style construction can then be discussed, subject to the sleep-product manufacturer’s instructions.
It is a pillowcase-like rectangular cover into which the mattress is inserted. The opening or overlapping flap is normally positioned underneath. It may suit selected thin mattresses but still requires close sizing.
A quotation may be possible only where the manufacturer permits a separate fitted sheet and the approved mattress or sleep surface can be measured accurately. Do not add unapproved mattresses or padding.
Include a thin, flat protector when it will normally remain underneath the fitted sheet. Measure the mattress and protector together rather than estimating an allowance.
Traditional custom fitted sheets can be ordered in 100s 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell or 100s long-staple cotton sateen. Current product availability is displayed on each product page.
Pricing depends on the selected material, mattress measurements, quantity, colour and estimated fabric usage. The product-page quotation tool calculates the current amount.
Many custom orders require approximately two to three weeks after all measurements, material, colour, quantity and order information are confirmed. Actual timing can vary.
Yes. This landing page and the English guides provide English information, while the linked product pages include both English and Traditional Chinese ordering details.
Because it is made to confirmed measurements, material and colour selections, ordinary returns or exchanges for incorrect customer-provided information or a change of mind are generally unavailable after production begins. Cases where the finished item does not match the confirmed order details will be followed up accordingly.
